The Boot Campaign raises money for soldiers healing from a variety of physical and emotional combat wounds through the sale of military-issue combat boots. The Boot Ride motorcycle ride and rally — check in 10:30 a.m., roll out 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26. Event begins at Route 66 Classic Grill, 18730 Soledad Canyon Road, Canyon Country and ends in Hollywood at The Happy Ending Bar. The cast of FX’s “Sons of Anarchy” and Discovery’s “The Deadliest Catch” will lead ride. Southern rock band Blackberry Smoke performs. Info: www.bootride.com.
