Carousel Ranch’s 16th Annual Dinner, Auction & Children’s Demonstration will be held Saturday, Aug. 25. Cost is $85 general seating / $175 VIP seating. Sunday, Aug. 26

The Boot Campaign raises money for soldiers healing from a variety of physical and emotional combat wounds through the sale of military-issue combat boots. The Boot Ride motorcycle ride and rally —  check in 10:30 a.m., roll out 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26. Event begins at Route 66 Classic Grill, 18730 Soledad Canyon Road, Canyon Country and ends in Hollywood at The Happy Ending Bar. The cast of FX’s “Sons of Anarchy” and Discovery’s “The Deadliest Catch” will lead ride. Southern rock band Blackberry Smoke performs. Info: www.bootride.com.

A Night at the Coconut Grove honoring SCV Women and Men of Honor. This event will honor Assemblyman Cameron Smyth and Santa Clarita Valley fashion icon Margo.  6 p.m. cocktails, 7 p.m. dinner Saturday, Sept. 8 at the Hyatt Regency Valencia, Town Center Drive, Valencia.
