Mr. and Mrs. Michael Cesena of Quartz Hill and the late Kristine R. Bradley announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristina Michelle Cesena D.D.S. to Richard Joseph, son of Richard and Virginia Krakowiak of Buffalo, N.Y.

The bride-elect is the sister of Brenda Cesena and Ryan Cesena of Quartz Hill and the granddaughter of Lillian and George Cesena of Valencia.

She is a graduate of the University of Southern California School of Dentistry.

The groom-elect is the brother of Jason Joseph of Buffalo, N.Y.

He is a graduate of Buffalo State University with a degree in business and marketing. He is currently a sales consultant for R.E.C. Solar.

The couple plan a wedding to be held near Big Sur in the summer of 2013.

They plan to make their home in San Luis Obispo.
