A man is behind bars this morning at the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station after allegedly pulling a knife on a commuter aboard a Metrolink train, a sergeant said.
About 7 a.m. today, a man traveling on the northbound train got into an argument with another passenger and pulled out a knife, said Sgt. Rich Nagler.
“There was a confrontation on the Metrolink when a rider pulled out a knife and threatened a passenger,” Nagler said.
Deputies intercepted the man at the Via Princessa train stop in Canyon Country and took the suspect into custody.
No one was hurt in the incident, but it caused delays of about 20 minutes for Antelope Valley line commuters, according to reports from Metrolink officials.
