Valencia football’s Sept. 7 game at Chaminade has been picked as one of Fox Sports West’s “Game of the Week” for the 2012 season.

The Vikings will take on Chaminade at 7 p.m. that day and the game will be shown on tape delay on Fox Sports West at 10:30 p.m.

A postgame show will air after the telecast.

Fox Sports West has a 17-game schedule for this year’s CIF-Southern Section football season, including playoff games.

There are five to-be-determined games on FSW’s schedule, meaning other Foothill League games could be added.

Last year, FSW televised the Hart-Valencia game.

Valencia won its third straight Foothill title last year, but lost 14-10 to Chaminade in Week 2.

Chaminade finished 10-3, making it to the Western Division semifinals.
