Sheriff’s Deputies have found the 14-year-old autistic boy missing in Castaic earlier this morning, said Sgt. Rich Nagler with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

The boy was found shopping with his father at 12:05 p.m., Sgt. Nagler said. The boy was reported missing by his mother at 10:30 a.m., Nagler said.

A Sheriff’s Department helicopter was dispatched to help the 20 Sheriff’s units searching for the boy, Sgt. Nagler said.
