Southern California Edison has had a bad PR year in the Santa Clarita Valley.

First, without proper public notice, it destroyed north Valencia's landscape by erecting 22-story-tall black lattice towers.

Now it is stripping our neighborhoods of Christmas decorations ("Edison says ‘Bah, humbug!' to Christmas lights" Dec. 5).

Santa Clarita residents are tired of being scrooged by Edison.

I know Edison is trying to move into renewable energy resources. But what is it going to do with all the coal that Santa will be bringing it this year?
