Santa Clarita Valley residents are asked to register for the Sheila Stride annual 5K/10K run, which will be held for the first time Sept. 30.

Proceeds from the run will benefit the Sheila R. Veloz Breast Imaging Center and allow the imaging center to stay at the cutting edge of technology.

Early registration for the 5K run is $20, $25 for the family and pet fun walk and $30 for the 10K run.
