Saturday, Aug. 11

“Silents Under the Stars” event, will be held 6 p.m. Saturday at at William S. Hart Park in Newhall. The featured silent film is a rare William S. Hart film called “The Whistle.” It is one of Hart’s hard-to-find non-Western movies.  

In addition, there will be a Bill Hart Western short. The event includes dinner, a Western Theme Silent Auction, and Western and Bluegrass music by the “All Digital String Band.”

Carousel Ranch’s 16th Annual Dinner, Auction & Children’s Demonstration will be held Aug. 25. Cost is $85 for general seating and $175 for VIP seating. “Sip, Stroll and Savor the Sounds” at the Soroptimist International of Greater Santa Clarita Valley’s fifth annual The Wine Affair. The event will be held 2-6 p.m. Oct. 21, at Valencia Town Center. Monthly music in Newhall’s Hart park
