Hello, my name is Deputy Ana Rubalcava and I will be your new zone leader for the Stevenson Ranch Area. I will be updating you on any recent crime trends, public safety information as well as any arrests made in the area. The following is a snap shot of Part 1 crimes reported last week.

A residential burglary was reported on the 25000 block of Holliday Cir. Miscellaneous items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the garage.

A women’s purse was stolen from a shopping cart in the Walmart parking lot.

Solar lights were stolen from the front lawn of a home located at the 26000 block of Beecher Ln.

$600 worth of property stolen from a business on 27000 block of the Old Rd.

There were also numerous reports of personal property stolen from Magic Mountain and Hurricane Harbor.

A female was taken into custody for shoplifting, and a male was arrested for burglary. Both incidents occurred at Walmart.

A vehicle burglary occurred from the 25000 block of The Old Rd. Personal items were stolen, and damage to the vehicle was observed.

A vehicle theft occurred from the 25000 block of The Old Rd. The vehicle was recovered the next day in the Saugus area.

Make sure to always lock your vehicles and do not leave any person items in plain view. If you need to leave personal items in the car, secure them in the trunk. Be vigilant! If you see any suspicious activity, call the Sheriff’s station at (661) 255-1121 or 9-1-1 in an emergency.
