SANTA ANA (AP) — An Orange County man has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for raping a woman with severe mental and developmental disabilities in a community college bathroom.

A district attorney's statement says Raul Barrientos received the sentence Monday after pleading guilty to kidnapping and five felony counts of sexual crimes, including forcible rape and forcible oral copulation.

Prosecutors say Barrientos approached a 19-year-old woman in April of 2011 at Fullerton College and led her to a men's bathroom stall where he raped her.

A teacher later found the woman, a special education student who has the mental capacity of a 5- to 6-year-old, wears leg braces and has impaired speech.
