Lashinda Demus, a volunteer assistant track and field coach at College of the Canyons ran a 54.60 second 400-meter hurdles race today in London to qualify for the semifinals. The semifinals will take place at 12:15 p.m. Monday, with the fina at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday.
