Hart district officials’ regularly scheduled board meeting will be held Tuesday, with the first public session beginning at 6:30 p.m.

At the meeting, officials for the William S. Hart Union High School district plan to discuss goals for the 2012-13 school year.

Finances, curriculum and the district's plans for new technologies were among the items on the district’s agenda.

“This is an annual road map that will act as a guide toward success for the next school year,” said Hart district spokeswoman Gail Pinsker in an email.

The district will also give an update on changes to curriculum, projects and programming, including an update on the district’s intervention and credit recovery programs.

“This continues to be an area where we are always improving and developing more strategies and programs to ensure that all students succeed and graduate,” Pinsker said. The Hart district has a graduation rate of 94 percent, compared to 71.6 percent for Los Angeles County, according to district figures.

The meeting was moved from Wednesday due to a scheduling issue, according to district officials. An update also will be given on the status of the draft environmental impact report for Castaic high, but the public hearing for document is scheduled for Aug. 15.
