Sixty guild members and their guests gathered at the Marriott Residence Inn in Stevenson Ranch for the annual Serendipity Auction.
Event chairwoman Eva Murray said the amount raised was "not bad for a fun-filled evening, just for the girls."
Items up for bid included jewel-encrusted evening bags from India, various holiday baskets, jewelry artwork and eight stuffed-animal reindeers.
"The highlight of the auction was Betsy Linn's three homemade Southern Comfort cakes that sold for $40 each," Murray said.
Murray spiced up the room with recycled decorations from the Guild's recent fashion show.
