Letters: Suffering letters to the editor withdrawal

Of the many letters to the editor that The Signal receives each day, it seems that The Signal could publish some of these letters on a daily basis.

It makes for a very entertaining day, reading these letters. Some are informative, critical, humorous, cynical and self-absorbed, but overall downright pretty good.
There are days when there are no new letters, and there are times when there are two or three days with none published.

Knowing that the people of the SCV always have something to say, it would behoove The Signal to publish these letters daily to keep their readers happy, and it definitely keeps the (website) posters happy and busy on a daily basis.

Like myself — I get a letters to the editor withdrawal when there is not at least one letter every day!

Editor’s note: Knowing as we do that Letters to the Editor are a priority for our readers, The Signal processes and publishes letters as quickly as we can. Letter writers know the process requires confirmation from the sender, which takes a little time. Every letter that isn’t out of date, libelous or grossly inappropriate for some reason (overtly racist, for example) is published. We, too, enjoy the lively interaction between our letter writers.
