They are even talking about how the auto industry, and presumably others, will be managed by Cabinet members and appointees in Washington.
What could be more disastrous than to have bureaucrats and Congress, who already have mismanaged our economy into recession and have no concept of fiscal management, running our major industries?
That has failed everywhere and every time it has been tried (Soviet Union, Cuba and any other Communist nation).
There are precious few businessmen in government; the majority of them are self-serving lawyers.
President Reagan nailed it when he said, "Government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem."
