This week’s moderate temperatures in the 80s in the Santa Clarita Valley will give way to higher ones in the 90s this weekend, but National Weather Service forecasters aren’t calling for triple digits.
On Friday, temperatures are forecast to be in the high 80s with a light wind around 10 to 15 mph expected in the afternoon, according to the National Weather Service. Lows are forecast to be around 56 with winds dying down to five to 10 mph.
Temperatures on Saturday are expected to reach 91 degrees and lows are expected to be around 58.
Sunday is expected to be the hottest day of the weekend at 97 degrees with lows around 60. Temperatures through Wednesday are expected to be in the high 90s.
