One person was rushed to a hospital with undisclosed injuries late Tuesday afternoon having survived a rollover collision on Soledad Canyon Road near Acton, fire officials said.

Shortly after 5 p.m., motorists phoned 911 to report a single vehicle rollover collision on Soledad about a mile west of Indian Canyon Road.

“People reported seeing a vehicle overturned with occupants climbing out of the vehicle,” said Inspector Tony Imbrenda of the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Paramedics transported one person to an undisclosed hospital, he said.

Apparently, the vehicle struck a power pole in the collision.

When paramedics arrived at the crash site they reported finding a downed power pole.

Work crews with Southern California Edison were dispatched to the site shortly before 6 p.m.

Commuters were caught in rush hour traffic when Soledad was shut down temporarily as paramedics treated the injured person and work crews dealt with the downed wires.
