Man rescued after crashing off cliff

A man was rescued via helicopter after his car plunged off Sand Canyon Road on Monday evening, Los Angeles County Fire Department officials said.

Officials picked up the man 200 feet below the road, two miles north of Bear Divide.

He was transported to Providence Holy Cross Hospital, and his injuries are unkown.
