The unseasonable dip in temperatures this week gave way to summertime seasonably high ones Thursday as hot temperatures were forecast through the weekend, the National Weather Service said.

A slight chance of thunderstorms was possible this evening, but otherwise sunny days were forecast through Monday with partly cloudy skies at night.

Highs were expected to reach 95 degrees tomorrow, 97 on Saturday, 96 on Sunday and 96 on Monday, the National Weather Service said.

Lows will be in the 60s.
