This month the Senses block party will be transformed into a beach party, as the city brings in sand and surfboards for a beach-themed event.

On July 19, there will be live reggae music, a fashion show sponsored by Fresh Lifestyle, tropical drinks, beach activities and beach-appropriate food trucks 7-11 p.m. in downtown Newhall.

The Senses event is every third Thursday of the month between 6th Street and Market Street in Old Town Newhall.
