Vandals trashed Sierra Vista Junior High school early Monday morning and now school officials are working with Santa Clarita Valley sheriff’s detectives to find them, a school spokeswoman said Monday.
Gail Pinsker confirmed school officials were informed Monday of a vandalism done to the Stillmore Street school near Camp Plenty Road in Canyon Country.
“We are cooperating fully with law enforcement and they are reviewing security cameras on the premises and seeking witnesses to aid in the arrest of the vandals,” Pinsker said.
“We do not know the extent of the damages yet or have descriptions about the vandals or know how many were potentially involved.”
Vandals broke into the school between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. Monday, she said.
