In its first playoff game in franchise history, the Santa Clarita Storm lost 3-2 to the Bay Area Ambassadors in Sacramento on Saturday.

The Storm took an early 2-1 lead, and held it for most of the contest before a penalty-kick goal from the Ambassadors’ Yousef Samy tied the score at two goals apiece in the 75th minute.

Things quickly got worse for the Storm, as Bryan Walle scored the game-winning goal for Bay Area off an assist from Paco Lopez to eliminate the Storm from the postseason.

Bay Area advances to play the Sonoma Sol in Oakland on July 21.
