On Dec. 2, Lenscrafters Valencia Town Center hosted students from Castaic Unified School District, The Bible Tabernacle, Seek and Save the Lost and a new partner this year, Mending Kids, a nonprofit organization that provides free medical services to children with critical heart problems.
Lenscrafters locations nationwide annually provide free comprehensive eye exams and eyeglasses for low-income recipients, many of whom receive a quality eye exam and the gift of sight for the first time.
The recipient and volunteer staff would like to give special thanks and recognition to these repeat sponsors and local Santa Clarita businesses: Donut Inn, Bob's Country Meats, Pizza Hut, Castaic Water Agency, Mimi's Café, McDonald's, Trader Joe's, Wing Stop and Togo's, and new sponsors Sam's Club and Olive Garden.
Their provisions of food and beverages for the day were truly appreciated.
