Nicole Leon-Cal State Bakersfield hoops-Canyon High

Canyon's all-time leading scorer led the Roadrunners to a 73-65 victory over Santa Clara Dec. 6 with a game-high 23 points. It was the sophomore's first collegiate start. She is averaging 7.5 points and 2.9 rebounds per game. Leon is averaging 21.1 minutes per game and has hit 50 percent of her 3-point tries. Cal State Bakersfield is 5-5 this season.

CODY ANDERSON . MONTANA STATE HOOPS
CANYON HIGH

Anderson has played in five games for the Grizzlies, averaging 6.4 minutes per contest. He has hit 3-of-5 shots, one of which was a 3-pointer. He is averaging 1.4 points per game. The 6-foot-10-inch true freshman has pulled down four rebounds and blocked one shot in those games. Montana State is 4-3 this season.

MEGAN FORD . CAL POLY POMONA HOOPS
HART HIGH

Ford has started all nine of Cal Poly Pomona's games. She is the team's leading rebounder at 7.3 boards per contest. The true freshman is scoring 9.4 points per game and making 41 percent of her shots. Pomona is 4-5 overall. Ford pulled down a career high 12 rebounds Dec. 5. She scored 26 points in a win over Western Oregon on Nov. 15.

TAYLOR LILLEY . OREGON HOOPS
HART HIGH

Lilley made her return to the Oregon lineup Saturday after missing the Ducks' first six games, due to a shin injury. The junior guard played 16 minutes in a 74-59 loss to Georgia Tech. She took three shots, scoring three points, pulling down two rebounds and dishing out three assists. She turned the ball over five times.

TATIANNA THOMAS . OREGON HOOPS
HART HIGH

Thomas is playing 25.3 minutes per game for the Ducks, scoring 5.0 points per contest and hitting 52 percent of her shots. The Ducks are 3-4 this season.
