Students at the Academy of the Canyons give a round of applause to Congressman Buck McKeon after he informed them they will receive 41 VIP tickets to the inauguration of President-elect Barack Obama.

The students have been working and asking for donations for the trip all year long.

McKeon's announcement came as a surprise Monday.

He also presented the AOC class a Certificate of Recognition and handed each student their own letter with the ticket.
