First place
My favorite holiday is Christmas. The tradition of Christmas is sitting in your living room staring at your Christmas Tree. As you drink some warm milk, the tree sparkles like glitter. At night, someone special comes down your chimney to deliver presents under your tree. That special person is Santa. He eats the cookies you made and some milk. When you wake up, you discover presents under the tree for you. And finally the angel at the top of your tree brightens. And those are the traditions of Christmas.

Second place
My favorite holiday tradition is going to my dad's friend's house. His name is Dave. We go to his house every Christmas Day. We first stuff ourselves with tons of food like ham, bread, lamb and chicken. Then I play video games with his son, Alec. He is one of my best friends. He is an eighth grader, so we sometimes look at stars with telescopes, play catch or just wrestle. I think this will be my best holiday tradition I will remember.

Third place
My favorite holiday tradition is when we go over to my grandma and grandpa's house on Christmas Eve. My cousins and I act out the Nativity. We dress up in costumes to represent the people that we are in the Nativity. We sing Christmas songs also. My favorite Christmas song is "Joy to the World". After that, we get to open only one of our presents. We have to save the rest for Christmas. That is my favorite holiday tradition.

My favorite holiday tradition is brunch on Christmas. First my family and I go to the mall and we get cinnamon rolls. After we have all the cinnamon roles, we go to my grandparents' and eat the cinnamon rolls for brunch. The cinnamon rolls are so good, we need to get seconds.

My favorite tradition is when every couple of years I meet in a place (usually Strawberry Lake or my house) with my family from all over the United States of America. We have so much fun playing and eating and even sometimes we go swimming! We also sometimes get presents for each other. I am so thankful for everybody who cares for me and loves me.

My favorite tradition is that every Christmas my friend Ellie and my sister Klara and I always wrap presents for the poor and give them to the orphanage. I am just glad that I have friends and family to look out for me. I hope everybody who is not as wealthy as I am can at least provide food and a home for them. That is why we have a loving and caring world.

The only tradition I have is to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ and that is a very important part of the year. I sometimes go to my grandparents' house because they are very, very strong Christians and I love to celebrate with someone else an important person. (And it's also fun to get presents from Santa!) Thank you for listening to my tradition!

My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. I like Thanksgiving. It's all about giving thanks. What my family does is give the poor clothes, money and food so those poor parents and also children survive. Every year I give thanks to everyone who takes care of each and every single person in the United States of America. My uncle is in the U.S. Army and fighting to give peace in the world, also he fights for the people to give thanks.

I love all the traditions that God made up for all the religions! My most favorite is Christmas because no matter what religion you are you could still celebrate Christmas too! I mostly love every tradition because it doesn't matter what kind of religion you are, you can celebrate any tradition! That's what my favorite holiday traditions are!

I think all of the holidays are great in every way but most of all I like Christmas since that is the time when both sides of my family get together. In other holidays only one part comes or none. In Christmas I am able to get to know more of my family not like other holidays. Most of all I like putting up lights and other things like that. Like Christmas trees and don't forget the presents.

The one tradition I have with my family has been over 10 years old! My family and I all go down to San Diego and go to Hotel Del Cornado. It is a very famous hotel. I personally love that vacation because I get to spend time with my family. Especially my brother. He may be autistic but he is one of the best brothers in the world.

Christmas is my favorite holiday tradition. I like it because it's another great time to get together with my family for a party. I also love writing wish lists to Santa. This year I helped my mom put up the Christmas tree and decorate it. I have always loved Christmas.

My favorite holiday tradition is Easter, because I get to spend time with my friends and family. I especially like the Easter egg hunt because it includes scouting for eggs. I like the fantastic food my mom cooks. My favorite part of Easter is when I pop open the eggs and find the little cute jelly beans. I love Easter!

I have many wonderful holiday traditions. On Christmas Eve, my whole family goes to my grandma's house for dinner. My grandpa, my aunt and my aunt's friend, Ben, comes too. After a filling dinner, we open presents. Santa, after presents, comes to my grandma's house and we take a picture. It's a great tradition and we love it!

My favorite holiday tradition is Hanukkah because of all the wonderful presents. I get to spend a bunch of time with all my family. I also love Hanukkah because you get to count down all the days all the way to eight, and then Hanukkah is over.

I like Christmas because me and my family gather around the Christmas tree and talk about our lives. We always eat Italian food every Christmas. Every Christmas my cousins come over and we have fun with my family, but the best part is when we eat together as a family.

My favorite holiday tradition is when my mom or grandma makes their chicken and noodles. We always have this mouth-watering meal on Thanksgiving and on Christmas. The chicken is seasoned perfectly and the noodles are soaked in the chicken broth. I personally think this is the best meal and the best tradition ever!

My favorite holiday traditions are when I go down to Fresno with my family and we visit my Aunt and Uncle and my four cousins. It is so much fun because we get to make hot chocolate with delicious marshmellows. Then, my cousins and I all talk about what we might get for Christmas! I love to celebrate Christmas with my family!
