A man and a woman were injured in a two-car collision near Santa Clarita Park on Seco Canyon Road on Thursday afternoon.
A spokesman in the traffic section of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station had no information on the couple’s identity or the extent of their injuries.
About 4 p.m., a Ford Explorer SUV and a BMW sedan collided on Seco at Guadilamar Drive across from the park, resulting in the SUV flipping onto its side, trapping one of the occupants.
“It was a two-vehicle collision with one person reported trapped,” said Inspector Clyde Taylor of the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The man and woman were taken to Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital.
According to one man who stopped at the crash, the driver of the BMW did not appear to be hurt and did not go to the hospital.
The crash is under investigation.
