I received an email from Congressman Howard “Buck” McKeon, R-Santa Clarita, on June 28, regarding the Supreme Court’s individual mandate ruling that reads in part:
“Today, the Supreme Court upheld President Obama’s health care mandate. While I respect the court’s ruling, it doesn’t change what we know to be true: Obamacare is a bad law that is wrong for America.”
Congressman, why is it that the Chevy Malibu coverage provided by “Obamacare” is a “bad law and wrong for America,” but the Cadillac/Rolls Royce/Lamborghini diamond-studded, champagne-and-caviar lifetime health care coverage you (and your family) enjoy as a congressman is good law and (no doubt) “good for America?”
Please explain ... so a disabled Vietnam veteran dummy like me can understand.
And in case you haven’t heard, Congressman McKeon, it’s “The Affordable Health Care Act,” not (your calculated slur notwithstanding) “Obamacare.”
