City Clerk Sharon Dawson swears in Frank Ferry as Santa Clarita mayor for 2009 during a Santa Clarita City Council organizational meeting Tuesday. Councilwoman Laurene Weste was appointed mayor pro tem. The ceremony brought together numerous community leaders and politicians who showered outgoing Mayor Bob Kellar with awards and plaques thanking him for his service. Kellar will continue to serve on the Council as a councilman. |
