A 26-year-old man was killed about 10 p.m.Friday night when he lost control of his motorcycle on Sierra Highway in Canyon Country, according to sheriff’s officials.
The man was traveling northbound on Sierra Highway just south of Linda Vista Street at a high rate of speed when the motorcycle went over the center median, hitting several trees before coming to rest in the southbound lanes of Sierra Highway, officials said.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. His identity has not been released.
