Canyon High's 2011-12 Female Athlete of the Year Tiffini Stone told The Signal she has accepted a scholarship offer from UC Riverside.

The CIF-Southern Section Division II triple jump champion and All-CIF SS Div. IIAA basketball player chose track and field over basketball.

The recently graduated athlete will primarily be a long and triple jumper in college.

She was the Division II runner-up in the long jump and made the CIF State Track and Field Championships for the first time in her career where she finished 14th overall in the long jump.
