Bill Mossontte, owner of Valencia Lanes, has allowed the use of the bowling center since the inception of the event. Del Guyer, Pleasantview's board president said, "The generosity of people like Bill Mossontte, his staff, and all of the participating bowlers has helped us to continue to have a successful event each year."

Saundra Wolfberg, a Pleasantview program participant who bowled in the event said, "I like the Bowl-A-Thon because it helps me to stay active and I like being social. I like helping Pleasantview because we need it."

Pleasantview, established in 1969, provides work services, life skills training and community job placement for 100 individuals on a daily basis.
