Lynn David was recently named the assistant superintendent of business services for Sulphur Springs School District.

She replaces Vicky Myers, who retired from the Canyon Country elementary school district. In her role, David will be in charge of the school district's budget and finances, transportation services for students, maintenance and operations.

David has been with Sulphur Springs since 2004, when she started as the categorical programs administrator.

Most recently, she served as principal of Leona Cox and Canyon Springs community schools in Canyon Country.
