So the federal government spends between $2 million and $3 million prosecuting Roger Clemens for allegedly lying to Congress, and he’s acquitted in about five minutes.
What a waste of time and money. I could never understand why anyone would be prosecuted for allegedly lying to Congress.
I mean, don’t members of Congress lie to us all the time?
