In response to “Fear and loathing in the GOP,” June 19:

Poor Kevin! He’s in Neverland with Peter Pan!

The latest rant of fear and loathing in the GOP really was a masterpiece of wishful thinking.

As far back as 10 years ago, Matt Diederich boxed Kevin’s ears so prolifically that I thought Kevin might just get his act together and check things out before putting his feet and fists in his mouth again, but over the years I have accepted that some people never learn, and don’t want to.

He would do himself a favor if he came out of his comfort zone and faced a few truths about his own party, which he really paints with such a fantasy brush.
