Intertex Properties hosts a "Grand Opening Celebration" at Bridgeport Marketplace Shopping Center from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday.

There will be 15 tons of real snow, a visit from Mr. and Mrs. Claus, complimentary massages, wine tasting at Bristol Farms and a performance by Acoustic Soul.

The event celebrates the opening of nearly 20 businesses at the new shopping center. Several more stores are scheduled to open throughout the next six to seven months, including California Pizza Kitchen, Sabor Mexican Cuisine, Southern California Orthopedic Institute, Bridgeport Aesthetic Dentistry and Salmassian Orthodontics.

The center is located at the northeast corner of Newhall Ranch Road and McBean Parkway in Valencia.
