Letter: Unanswered questions about Obama’s immigration plan

Regarding Barack Obama’s immigration proposal:

If a “child” has to be between 16 and 30 to receive legal status and must be residing in the USA for at least five years, that means a “child” of 25 can get legal status.

I thought these children were brought here by their parents and had no say in the matter. A 25-year-old would surely know he was being brought here illegally.

Also, President Obama says this is temporary. For how long? As long as he is president, does his “temporary” mean forever?

Does this mean more families will cross the border and wait out the five years?

Anybody have any answers to these questions?
