Deputies were searching for two men who reportedly tried to steal a sports bike from the garage of a home on the 23400 block of Abbey Glen Place in north Valencia just before 5:30 p.m. Friday.

One suspect tried to steal the Honda CRV motorcycle from the garage while the other waited nearby in a car that was most likely a gold Nissan Sentra, a Sheriff's Department official said.

A man at the home stopped the would-be thief from taking the motorcycle, but the suspect ran to the car and both suspects drove away, the official said.

The suspect who tried to steal the motorcycle is between 18 and 20, heavily tattooed and could be missing teeth.

"He's wearing jeans, without a shirt and had brown hair," the official said.

By Friday evening, the two suspects had not been found.
