I wanted to thank The Signal and Mr. Collier for their recent coverage of the Saugus High School Band and Color Guard.

Until recently it seemed that if you weren't in football or baseball, no one noticed. The young people who are involved in the band and color guard practice just as long and sacrifice just as much to be involved in such a high-ranking ensemble as do athletes.

Mr. and Mrs. Gibson, as well as all those parent volunteers, work extremely hard to make this group what it is. They are to be commended for their dedication to not only the band, but the students as a whole.

Way to go, Saugus, and way to go, Signal!
