	All of the third grade classes at Golden Oak Elementary school at their city assembly May 31 led by Mayor Frank Ferry. The class was one of the winners of a coloring contest.

Andrew Oh, third-grader at Golden Oak Elementary School, was one of three winners of the city of Santa Clarita’s 25th anniversary inspired coloring contest.

The prize for the contest was a special assembly for all the members of the winning artist’s grade.

Santa Clarita Mayor Frank Ferry and local emergency responders recently visited the school to meet with students and teach them about local government.

Oh got a certificate from Ferry and got to climb a fire ladder and learn about how the city cleans storm drains.
