Drunk in Public
24300 block of Town Center Drive, Valencia
A 24-year-old Saugus man was arrested at 1:30 a.m. May 29 outside the Tilted Kilt Pub and Eatery for being drunk in public after shouting obscenities at a sheriff's deputy. "The suspect was extremely belligerent and completely uncooperative," a sheriff's report said.

Drunk in Public
Brescia Drive, Valencia
A 23-year-old man was arrested just after midnight May 29 for being drunk in public after he was caught stumbling through a Valencia construction site, a sheriff's report said. Prior to his arrest, a neighborhood homeowner's association security guard sprayed the man with pepper spray after he refused to leave the area, a sheriff's report said. The man told deputies he had "about 10 to 15 beers in the past two to four hours," the report said.

May 30
Burglary
Danielson Street, Canyon Country
Thieves ransacked a 20-year-old Canyon Country man's apartment between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. May 30 and stole a variety of video game equipment, a sheriff's report said. The screen on a bedroom window had been lifted from its track and moved over, possibly allowing thieves to enter the home, the report said. The window was unlocked at the time of the theft, the report said.

Public Intoxication
Scherzinger Lane, Canyon Country
Deputies responded to a report of a man screaming just after midnight May 31 in Canyon Country and observed a 29-year-old Lake Balboa man staggering down Scherzinger Lane. The man was unable to tell deputies where he had come from and could only say he lived in Tujunga, a sheriff's report said. The man began to cry when deputies asked if he had any family or friends in Santa Clarita, the report said.

Spousal Battery
Ficus Drive, Newhall
A 26-year-old woman was arrested after reportedly punching her live-in boyfriend in the face around 1 a.m. because he hadn't taken their dog for a walk, a sheriff's report said. The woman also demanded her 28-year-old boyfriend give her gas money so she could go to her parents' home in Castaic, where she smashed a window of their residence, a sheriff's report said.

Battery
Soledad Canyon Road, Valley Center Drive, Canyon Country
A 23-year-old man was taken to Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital after being assaulted around 1 p.m. June 1. The victim suffered bruising and redness to his face and bloody lips, a sheriff's report said. The victim told deputies he was at a friend's home when a man pulled up in a white car, walked up to him and began to beat him, the report said.

Petty Theft
26400 Carl Boyer Drive, Canyon Country
Two 24-year-old Palmdale women were arrested at 3:30 p.m. May 2 after stealing just more than $150 in items - mostly cosmetics - from Walmart, a sheriff's report said. Both suspects admitted to the theft, a sheriff's report said.
