Hart High graduate and University of Oklahoma catcher Jessica Shults may have fallen just short of winning an NCAA national championship on Wednesday night in Oklahoma City, but she did managed to pick up another honor in a season full of them.

After the Sooners 5-4 loss to Alabama in the third, and final, game of the championship series, Shults was one of a tournament-leading five Oklahoma players named to the Women’s College World Series All-Tournament team.

In six games at the tournament, Shults hit .353 with eight RBIs and three runs scored.

She was at her best during the first two games of the championship series, going 3-6 with six RBIs and a run scored.
