A man was taken to Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital Tuesday night with moderate injuries following a two-car collision in which his car flipped over, a local sheriff's spokesman said.
At about 10:25 p.m., deputies with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station received a report of two cars that collided on McBean Parkway at Tournament Road, said Lt. Eric Lasko.
“One of the vehicles rolled over and a party was trapped inside,” he said. “Deputies and the (Los Angeles County) Fire Department responded and got him out.”
The man was taken to hospital with injuries described by Lasko as “moderate.”
The cause of the collision is under investigation by the station’s traffic department, he said.
There was no report of the second motorist being treated for injuries, said a spokesman for the fire department.
