The various letters to the editor accusing Tim Myers, who writes the column "Myers' Musings," of a liberal bent provide a tremendous source of glee for myself and my four siblings.

They will also provide a source of glee for my two small nephews and future nieces and nephews when they learn the meaning of the term.

As someone who has lived with Tim Myers for 17 years (my entire life), I can certainly attest that while many words might spring to mind when referring to my father, liberal is certainly not one of them.
