I would like to congratulate the Saugus High School girls cross country team on their magnificent state title win for a third year in a row.

I am encouraged with the dedication, hard work and obvious talent shown by these young athletes.

I would also like to acknowledge and thank Signal Sports Editor Mr. Cary Osborne for his well-written and interesting report of the state competition in Fresno (Signal Sports, Nov. 30).
