A black Toyota Rav4 and a silver Volkswagen bug collided in the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 just south of Highway 14 just after noon today, according to a California Highway Patrol report.

Some traffic on I-5 was blocked for a short while, but both vehicles had been moved to the roadside by 12:20 p.m., the report said.

There were no reports of injuries from the collision, a Fire Department official said.
