College of the Canyons students and employees will begin paying more for parking this fall. The community college's trustees recently voted to increase the parking fee from $40 to $50 per semester and from $20 to $25 for winter and summer sessions.

The last increase to the general parking fee took place in fall 2000. The latest move will generate an additional $200,000 for the Santa Clarita Valley's only community college.
