UPDATE: Deputies respond to reported Fair Oaks Ranch burglary

A reported call of a burglary in progress in the Fair Oaks Ranch area of Canyon Country on Thursday morning turned out to be a false alarm, according to Santa Clarita sheriff’s officials.


The call of a burglary in progress was received around 9:50 a.m., according to a sheriff’s official. Deputies determined that it was a false alarm and there was no burglary when they arrived on scene.
