In response to “Boydston cries foul on benefits,” May 26: Mr. Boydston is correct. He is not a city employee.
He was elected by the people of Santa Clarita.

City employees are under the jurisdiction of the city manager; City Council members are not. Or at least they certainly should not be!

Play fair, Mr. Pulskamp, and give Mr. Boydston the benefits to which he is entitled.
