Santa Clarita Valley residents who want to get to the beach without driving will be able to take a ride on the 2012 Summer Beach Bus, which will ferry residents from different areas in Santa Clarita to Santa Monica on weekends for $3 each way from June 9 through Sept. 2.

The Beach Bus will run Saturdays and Sundays, departing from different locations in Santa Clarita in the morning and returning in the afternoon. Fares are $3 each way for children and adults, with tickets available for $1.50 each way for senior citizens and people with disabilities.
